Flow Cytometry: Early contributions

   = externe Verbindungen

The subsequent tables display the earliest appearences of ideas in the flow cytometric area of science which have significantly amplified with time. Early European work has been outlined separately in a recent review (JBRHA 2003, 17: 213-222). Inclusion criteria were articles in peer reviewed journals, book articles, patent literature, thesis and habilitation work.

The significant importance of flow cytometry has in majority not developed through high impact journals. The presently very much impact factor biased view considers preferentially large rivers and extended river deltas without accounting for the small sources at the origin which determine the ultimate flow of rivers.
